2012 looks like a busy year for me.
I will be 62 later this year- a significant number for me as it was my number in my first Manx Grand Prix and coincidentally I am guest at the Manx Motorcycle club dinner next weekend.
I'm looking forward to the event and to meeting a couple of winners from last years Manx.
In February I hope to be at the Road Race Legends legends event at Oswestry along with Guy Martin and the boys, that's on the night of the 17th.
The following weekend I'll be in Crewe at a fund raiser for the Tonfanau race cicuit and taking charge of the auction I believe.
On March 16th I am hosting a chat show in Warrington where the guests will be John Mcguinness, Guy Martin and Tommy Robb.
On March 18th I am guest at a bike show in Manchester at "Event City" which I believe is near to the Trafford Shopping Centre.
The , in April perhaps one of the most interesting things this year. Somewhat out of the blue I received an invitaion to take part in the "Broadford Bike Bonanza" just north of Melbourne , Australia.
Apparently , it is a huge event that takes place over the Easter weekend and I will be there as the guest of the organisers along with former speedway world champion, Ivan Mauger.
Then it's on to the TT, it sure does come around quickly and for me is the highlight of my motorcycling year.
It does't end there , the weekend after the TT see the 5th "Pageant of Power" at Cholmondeley Castle .I normally ride myself at this great event but will be doing the commentary this year.
If you are not intending to go to Silverstone for the Moto GP then the weekend at Cholmondeley is great for both cars and bikes alike.
Whatever you ride on road or track hvae a great year and more importantly, A SAFE ONE !!
Regards
Charlie
